Forgot windows admin password?

I have a Toshiba Satellite running Windows Vista. I purchased the laptop from my brother inlaw who purchased it from his sister. The screen was cracked on it so nobody has touched it for 3 years. I just put a new lcd in it and it comes on just fine. But, there is only one profile and it says charls. Which is her ex boyfriends name and she cant remember the password. I tried to factory reset it by pressing F8 repeatedly until it came up with the options to reset it but it asked for a password as well. Any ideas. I don't care about the data on it. Even if I have to restore it to original. I just need to get in. Thanks much.
