What laptop is the best?

I want to buy a laptop and I only have one more year of highschool left so college is right around the corner. Which laptop is better for every thing, an alien ware or a mac book pro. They are the same price but I have no clue which ones better. I like to game but do alienware computers function like every one. ? Help!
