Windows 7 internet problems?

I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on my HP laptop. I can connect to the internet, but there is an exclamation mark over all of the connections. When I connect to mine, it will say no internet access. I can not connect to any of the other ones. Last night, I was able to get onto the Hilton hotels internet, and it brought me to a page where I need to put in a username and password to access it, so I dont think it is my computer. I tried updating drivers, that did not work. I am in a hotel right now, and my other laptop (the one I am on) is working. When I try diagnosing the problem, it says I should re connect my router, which I have not yet tried because I am in a hotel and that does not seem to have solved the problem for anyone else. Is there anything else I can do, or should I try to get the hotel staff to reset the router? Thanks.
